CBS This Morning

CBS filmed a five minute segment on microplastics, that focused on my study that found microplastics in the sediment record, as well as work by Dr. Susanne Brander at Oregon State University. It aired on CBS This Morning, which has a national audience of 3 million viewers.

When my article about microplastics in the sediment record came out, it received a lot of press attention. I was on the local San Diego news discussing the study, in a clip that played multiple times that week due to public interest about the topic.
